The signature in relation to forums is called the short text which automatically is located at the end of each message of the user. Some forum "engines" allow to insert into this text and small images.
Instruction
1. Select the picture which you wish to place in the signature. The following requirements are imposed to it: first, it should not violate copyright of the third parties, and secondly, it should have horizontal configuration and to be very small (no more than 300 pixels in horizontal direction and 30 pixels in vertical direction). Place the picture on any photohosting. Among several automatically generated links find a so-called straight line, that is the leader directly on the file with the image. It is also possible to place the picture which is already on other server provided that the last allows a so-called liching (an insert of images in the pages lying outside this server). For this purpose right-click on the image and select the Copy the Image Address item in a context menu. The link will appear in a clipboard.
2. Enter a forum, using the user name and the password received at registration. Press the Profile button. Follow the link "Settings of a Profile". Among data entry fields on the page find the field designated as "Signature". Insert the link to the image into the right place of the text of the signature. If there yet there is no text, if desired enter it - it will be the comment on the picture. The link should be located on a separate line.
3. To the left of the link place, without separating spaces, the opening tag [IMG], and on the right closing - [/IMG]. For example: [IMG] of http://server.domain/link/to/the/image.jpg [/IMG], where a line between tags - the link to the image. Total length of the text together with the link and tags should not exceed the value specified near the field (usually - 300 signs, including spaces and punctuation marks).
4. Click "Change a Profile" or similar (its exact name depends on forum "engine"). Find any of own messages in a forum. Now in it there has to be a signature with the picture. If instead of it you found the link together with tags, so "engine" of a forum does not support an insert of images in the signature. In this case the link should be deleted from it.
