One of very useful options of social network VKontakte – creation of communities. By means of the control panel it is possible to configure the page under the definite purposes for obtaining the maximum effect of its creation.
Types of communities
The social network VKontakte, except the personal page of the user, allows to create different types of communities. They differ on extent of access, the placed information and the pursued purposes.
The type of community "gruppa" can be open for all comers to enter it, closed which it is possible to become the member only having sent the application or having received the invitation, and private (the introduction by the invitation). Groups are created for the purpose of discussion of hot topics, conducting discussions and exchange of views on questions, the corresponding interests of participants.
Public pages use for distribution of news and providing information in a certain niche. They differ on type and officially present websites, the companies, the famous people, products or works.
The third type of communities is intended for the notification of subscribers about upcoming events: concerts, seminars, parties and so forth.
Creation of communities
It is necessary for creation of community on the page for VKontakte, in the left side column of the main menu, to select "My groups". Here the list of communities in which you consist (if that is available) with the indication of the name, type of group or the page and the number of participants will be displayed. In the upper right corner of the page click "Create Community". In the opened window it is necessary to write the name of community and to give a mark about its view: group, public page, action. After clicking the Create Community button the page of management on which it is possible to configure different functions of information display and interaction with participants will open.
General settings
For groups it is possible to configure the following settings: the name of community, the page address, the description, scope, the website address, location, a type of records on a wall, access to placement of photos, video and audio recordings, documents. Also the possibility of creation of subjects for discussion and the publication of materials is configured and the group type is specified (opened, closed or private).
For community of a view "Public page" it is necessary to specify type in settings. It can be the place or the small company, the organization or the website, the famous person or collective, the work or products. After that in a special cell give a mark that you are the official representative, adopt instructions for use of the website and click "Create the page".
For an action, except general settings with groups, it is necessary to specify time of its beginning and the termination and also the organizer.
