How to add a page to the website

Each website owner faces need of change and addition of materials. It can be done by means of editing earlier created pages, or having added new to the website. It is required to you • - code editor of HTML or text editor notepad; • - access to a website directory under the FTP protocol. Instruction 1. Before adding the new page on the website, it needs to be created on the local computer of the user. For this purpose it is necessary to create HTML marking describing formatting of the page in the specialized editor, to add text and graphic materials. At the same time it is desirable to provide style unity of pages of the website. You should not use a red background in the new page if all others have black. Not to recreate all marking, download already existing page from the server, and then to edit it. In the new page it is necessary to create references to earlier created documents to give to the user an opportunity to pass to them, without clicking "back" in the browser. 2. After the page is created, it is necessary to load it on the server. The FTP protocol is for this purpose used. To work with it the client program, for example FileZilla is necessary. There is a set of commercial and free applications for every taste. It is necessary to specify the address FTP of the server to which loading, a user name and the password will be made in the program. All this information can be obtained at the provider providing the site for placement of the website. After connection is established, load the HTML-file on the server. Do not forget about the pictures and other files used when developing the page. All of them should be loaded into the same directory in which HTML the file is located, otherwise users of the website will not be able to see them. 3. Now the page is loaded on a hosting and is available to own address. But does not keep not it any links yet, and the user (and search engines) will not be able to find it in any way. It is necessary to put links to the new page on earlier created pages of the website, i.e. to edit them. Not all FTP clients support editing of files on the server just as it is implemented in windows conductor. Pages need to be loaded on the computer, to open in the editor, to add references, and then to load back, rubbing clean old versions of files. After performing all actions it is important to test operability of links. The typo in the URL address of the page will lead to emergence of an error in attempt of its loading.
