A small amount of the modern websites does without blog. The blog for the website – a good way to share the thoughts with the reader. But there is such huge number of scripts and blogging engines that to select an optimal variant happens not so easily.
Instruction
1. One of the "easiest" scripts of the blog is JBlog. It is created by our compatriot, is free. Requirements for the server: the Apache server> = 2 with the mod_rewrite module. PHP should work as the Apache (mod_php) module, but not as CGI/FastCGI.
2. Download a script on the website of the developer - http://allpublication.ru. Unpack archive in any free folder. Come into a root folder of your hosting through FTP, or via the administration panel. Come into the folder where files of the website are located (normally it / home/vashe_imya/www).
3. Create in this directory the folder with the name blog. Upload files of a script in this folder. Import a dump which is in the sql_dump.sql file in MySQL. Edit variables at the beginning of the file/admin/conf.php according to the settings. In our case it is RewriteBase/blog/.
4. Further put files from folder/crontab on CRON. Pass to the address vash_sayt/blog, there has to be a page where you can see the blog. To enter in the administrator - the control panel of the blog, pass to the address vash_sayt/blog/_ a.php. The login and the password for an input – admin.
5. Of course, it is necessary to tell about a blogging engine – Wordpress. Download the engine from the official site of http://ru.wordpress.org/. Unpack archive in the free folder.
6. Come into the root directory of your website (/home/vashe_imya/www) through the FTP manager, or through cPanel (or etc.) a hosting. Create the new folder with the name blog.
7. Upload files of the engine in this folder. Create the new database through the administrator panel of a hosting (it will be required at installation of the engine).
8. Pass to the address vash_sayt/blog, installation of the engine will begin. Enter the necessary data provided by a hosting, following instructions and hints of the installation wizard. When installation is finished, pass to the address vash_sayt/blog to make sure of operability of the engine.
