Daily you make hundreds of actions, working at the computer. For convenient work you change settings in BIOS, programs and social networks on the Internet. Not to make setup twice, do not forget to apply changes.
Instruction
1. If you need to configure, connect, switch-off any device, you will use for certain the BIOS settings – a main system of input-output of devices. Whatever setting you configured, it is important to apply changes before an output. In different versions from different vendors the name of this option can differ: Save CMOS & Exit Setup/Save & Exit Setup/Save and Exit. For efficiency F10 key is sometimes used. After you selected action, the window for confirmation of saving changes will appear. Click Y if agree, N – if are not sure of correctness of settings. If you just reboot, changes will not be saved.
2. If you work in the program, point of application of changes will differ too. In some applications it is enough to select the necessary parameter and to close a window. If in the menu of settings there are Apply, OK or Save points, so after modification it is necessary to click them. It is especially important not to forget to press the Apply button if the settings window contains several tabs. It is possible to click "Apply" after each action and continue setup. If you click OK, all changes will be saved, and the window will be closed. In some programs you can see result at once, but if changes affect the hardware, reset of the computer can be required.
3. Some programs have an opportunity to save settings in the separate file. You can use it, even when reinstall the program. Usually this function has the name Save Profile. To load this file, find point in the Load Profile menu.
4. When you work on the Internet, too it is necessary to change settings for display of some websites. As in a case with the software, some websites do not require confirmation for change, you see them in real time. If on the page (usually below) there is a Save button, so it is necessary to click it that changes became effective.
5. In work on creation of the website you can use the editor of the websites, such as, for example, on Narod.ru. There are some inscriptions which are reflected in all pages of the website. If you change such inscription, after closing of an edit window the message like "Will appear apply to all pages". Click on "Yes" if agree, or select the Apply Only to This Page item. Do not forget that "The publication of changes on the website" will be a final step.
