Fields of pages in Microsoft Word application represent the blank space at the edges of the page which limits print area. In certain cases they can be filled with headlines and numbering. Parameters of fields of pages can be set by default or to set own.

Instruction
1. Start the Microsoft Word program. Open the Marking of Pages tab in a top panel of tools and choose the Field command which image has an appearance of a blank sheet with the separated edges in the Parameters of Pages group.
2. Select the necessary type of fields from the opened menu. Normal fields on top and from below are limited to 2 cm, on the right – 15 cm and at the left – 3 cm. The narrow type separates 1.27 cm from all directions. Also among standard fields there is an average, wide or mirror type. If any of them does not suit you that click the Configured Fields point then enter the necessary parameters into the lines "Top", "Lower", "Left" and "Right". Here you can select orientation of the page, the provision of a cover, a type of the page and the size of paper. To save settings click "Ok".
3. Press the Microsoft Word button and pass to the Word Parameters point. Select In the addition tab put a checkbox near the inscription "Limits of the Text" in the Show Document Contents group. As a result page fields will be displayed in the form of dashed lines. They are browsed only in the mode of a marking or the web document therefore will not be printed.
4. Come into "The configured fields" and select the Mirror item to install identical outside and internal margins for even and odd pages. If it is necessary to set fields for the broshyurovanny text, then specify the Normal type in the Several Pages field, and in the Cover field specify parameters of fields. After that note the provision of a cover which can be at the left or above.
5. Go to the View tab and check near the inscription "Ruler" the Show group. On it a part of the page which is intended for text entering, and more dark color – restriction of the field will be displayed by gray color. For manual change of parameter of page fields it is necessary to click the right mouse button the triangular marker located on a ruler and to pull it in the necessary party.
