ICQ, that is the program for instant messaging of ICQ and also similar programs, such as Qip, Miranda, won popularity of Internet users worldwide for a long time. These programs give the chance of convenient and fast receiving and sending messages online. Also they allow to monitor appearance of the user in network, than he is engaged at present and whether can answer.
Instruction
1. Start the ICQ program, usually its label in the form of a floret is on a task bar or on a desktop. Otherwise open the Start menu, find the Programs point and from there start the ICQ program. Become authorized, enter the login and the password in ICQ to have an opportunity to send the file according to ICQ.
2. Wait until the program receives the list of your contacts, select the recipient to whom you want to send the file according to ICQ, right-click on his name and select the option "transfer the file". The transfer window in which select the file by means of the overview command will open: open the necessary folder, select the file and click "open". In order that the file in ICQ was attached to the message, your interlocutor should confirm reception of the file. Further the transfer window in which it is possible to monitor transfer process, speed will open and what is the time still remained before the termination. Do not close this window, process of transfer of the file will not end yet. When the file is transferred, the program will inform you the corresponding sound, and in a window of transfer will be written "Transfer is complete". Close this window.
3. Open a correspondence window, having twice clicked on a nickname of the interlocutor and press a diskette image button on the toolbar. Choose the command "transfer files directly", in the opened window select the necessary file, click "open". Pay attention - to send the file in ICQ directly, an indispensable condition is presence of the user in network. Also for direct transfer of the file you can open a window of correspondence and drag the left mouse button the necessary file directly in a message box. In this case transfer will begin automatically.
4. Also if there is no user in network, you can attach files in ICQ to the offline message. For this purpose open a correspondence window, press an image button of a diskette and choose the command "load the file on the server". In the opened window select the necessary folder and select the file, then click "Open". The file will be loaded on the server, and the user will be able to download it as soon as appears in network.
