For the solution of different tasks the computing resources are provided to clients by a terminal server. Technically it is the powerful computer which is connected to clients a local area network.

Instruction

1. Use a patch for the operating system under the name Windows UniversalTermsrvPatch for installation of a terminal server. Start it, read the description, click "Further". The window will appear, click "Yes". In the following appeared window in which the request for recovery of former files will be highlighted, select "Canceling". Further click on "Yes". That changes in a system for setup of the server became effective, reboot.

2. Now add users on the server. Open the Start menu, further click on "Setup", then pass into "Control panel", select "Accounts of users". Now create the user, select in a record type "Limited record".

3. Set the password in properties. It and a name needs to be set, using Latin characters. For setup of user login of a system select both available checkboxes in the corresponding window, then click "Use of parameters".

4. To complete installation of a terminal server, change properties of a system. For this purpose click with the right mouse button a label "My computer", then select "Properties", then pass into "Remote sessions". Select a checkbox near the inscription "Allow Remote Access to This Computer". Click on "Select remote users".

5. Click "Add", in the appeared window click on "In addition", then select "Search", note from the list of the necessary users and click "OK". The new window should appear, in it confirm the choice.

6. There is one more way for adding of users – the Administration command in the control panel. Select the Control of the Computer item, further "Utilities", then "Users", then "Properties of the User". Come into point under the name "Membership in Groups", click on "Add" and select the necessary users.
