FTTx, or optical fiber to a point of X or "dedicated line". The network point, the area, the building, the apartment can be a point of X. Pluses – high speed (up to 100 Mbps), lack of need for a telephone line and the modem. Minuses – complexity of connection. Often optical fiber covers not all areas and if to you "has the luck" to live in that area where there is no optical fiber, it is necessary to agree with provider that to you it was stretched. 2. Select provider and a service package or a rate. Today most providers provide almost equivalent rates, with a small difference in conditions and the price. Therefore when choosing provider the main criterion is reliability. To define degree of reliability of any given provider, contact users of a certain supplier the Internet of connection. Usually it can be done at a forum or the website of provider where users leave the comments, wishes and notes.
