Using a mouse the user is carried out interaction with different screen objects of the monitor: moves, selects, deletes and changes files and folders. The mouse is ready to work right after loading of the operating system. Operation of the device of this type can be regulated by means of settings.
Instruction
1. If you had a need to disconnect a mouse, a lot of things will depend on model of the mouse. When you use the normal mouse connected to the computer by means of a cable (wire mouse), disconnect her from the system unit physically. If the wireless mouse is connected to the computer, check a device case cover. There is a switch allowing to switch on and off a mouse. Turn the toggle-switch to position Off.
2. There is also other way which is suitable for inclusion and switching off of all devices on the computer, and not just a mouse. Cause the System component. For this purpose click with the right mouse button the My Computer element on "Desktop". In a context menu select the Properties item. The necessary window will open.
3. It is possible to cause it and in a different way: in the Start menu click with the right mouse button the My Computer element in the main menu and choose the Properties command in a drop-down menu. Or open "Control panel" and in category "Performance and Service" click with the left mouse button the System icon.
4. In the opened dialog box go to the Equipment tab. Press the Device manager button in the group of the same name. This action will open an additional dialog box. Find in the list of devices a branch "Mice and other specifying devices".
5. Expand a branch, having clicked an icon [+] to the left of a line, or doubleclick of a mouse. Select the name of the mouse in the deployed tree and click it with the right mouse button. In a context menu choose the Disconnect command.
6. Other option: open a device properties window, having double-clicked on a line with its name. In a properties window go to the General tab and set This Device Is Not Used (Is Switched-off) value in the Use of the Device group. Click OK to apply new settings.
7. If in a branch "Mice and other specifying devices" several devices under identical names are displayed, repeat the described actions for each of devices. The mouse will be blocked. After that perform operations by means of keys on the keyboard.
