Facebook – one of social networks most known around the world which offers the user a set of functions on management of settings of the account. For example, after creation of the account you can change your displayed name through a resource menu item.
Instruction
1. Open the browser and pass to the website of Facebook. For this purpose you can use an address bar of the program or the section "Favorites" if the website was saved at you in bookmarks.
2. Log in to the account. For this purpose enter in the form which appeared on the page your E-mail and password for access to the account, and then click "Input". If all data were correct, you will be readdressed on the personal page. If you cannot enter, use the procedure of password recovery through the Forgot the Password menu.
3. Change of a user name on the server can be made only once, and therefore previously define what nickname most of all will suit you as a repeated opportunity to change the displayed name will not be any more.
4. As soon as you thought up the name of the account, click on an icon of settings in the form of a gear which is located in the right top part of the page on Facebook. In the appeared context menu select "Account settings".
5. On the new page you will see the list of parameters which can be changed. Click on the link "General" in the left part of a window. In the list of the offered options you can select "User name". Press the Edit button which is located on the right.
6. Enter a name to which you want to change your current name of the account. After the end of input press the Save Changes button to apply the data entered in parameters. Change of a user name for Facebook is complete and now in your Chronicle the new user name will be displayed.
7. If you did not see that changes were applied, try to enter again on your page. For this purpose guide the mouse cursor in the upper left corner at an icon of your account and select "Leave". Then again enter a user name and the password in the respective fields on the page and click "Enter". Setup of a user name for Facebook is complete.
