The social network "VKontakte" allows users to create communities and groups on interests which certain persons or everyone can enter. At the request of the creator it is possible to install one of several types of group.
Instruction
1. Enter into VKontakte social network under the login and the admin password of community. Visit the necessary page and find under a logo in its right part the reference "Transfer to the Page" or "Transfer to Group" depending on the current community type. Having clicked on the link, you will see a window with the warning of changes which will happen to community after change of its type.
2. If you want to transfer group to the page, pay attention that after that in it there will be no News block, the list of the current invitations in group will be cleaned, will be gone published not on behalf of administration of record on a wall, there will be unavailable a Documents block, and the Discussions block will move to the right part of the page. Besides, now on the page all users of social network will be able to see information.
3. In case of the translation of the page in group it is necessary to remember that her members will not be able to recommend the news to the publication and which are already offered any more will be placed on a wall. Also all sections will disappear, and created by administration of a meeting will pass into the Actions block which cannot be hidden.
4. Specify additional parameters at change of a community type. For example, executing transfer of group to the page, you can make it open that it was entered by everyone. It is also possible to enable limited access in group, for example, if it is academic. After receiving request from persons interested to join community, the administrator will have to approve the application. One more view - private group. Only the administrator can invite in it users.
