Change of the IP address allows to bypass protection of some programs and Internet resources. The easiest way change the IP address for connection to a certain website – to use the proxy-server. But there are methods allowing not to use these resources.

Instruction
1. In that situation when you need to use the static IP address for establishing connection to the server of provider, independently change its value. During the work with the Windows XP operating system open the Start menu and guide the cursor at the Network Connections point. Select the Display All Connections menu.
2. Click with the right mouse button an icon of connection with the Internet and select the Properties item. Select parameters of the internet protocol TCP/IP. Find the IP address field and change the value specified in it. Click Ok for saving parameters.
3. At setup of parameters in the Windows Seven or Vista systems click the icon of networks located in a system tray. Open the Network and Sharing Center menu. Pass to parameters of adapters.
4. Open properties of the necessary connection. Select the Internet Protocol of TCP/IPv4 item. Change its parameters as it is described in the second step.
5. If your provider uses the dynamic IP addresses, then just disconnect with the Internet and a local area network if it is present. In 2-3 minutes be connected to network again and check IP addresses value.
6. If this way did not help, then open a device manager. Find the network interface card and pass to its properties. Open In the addition tab and find the Network Address field. Change value of the MAC address. Save parameters and be reconnected to network. Most likely, you will be given the new IP address.
7. When choosing the new MAC address it is better to replace 1-2 digits in standard parameter. Open the command console, having gathered cmd in the field "Execute", and enter ipconfig/all. Find out the MAC address of the network adapter before entering new value.
