Creating a mailbox, many people insufficiently seriously treat the choice of the login, without suspecting that it is impossible to change it subsequently. The login from e-mail represents its address. It is possible to draw an analogy to a physical address of the person: if it needs to be changed, then it is necessary to move to the new place. The same with e-mail: if necessary to replace the login, it is necessary to register a new mailbox. But some services of e-mail can help to find more suitable solution.

1. If to consider four main services of e-mail, the most widespread among users: Rambler, Yandex, mail.ru and Gmail, any of them does not give the chance to replace the login or the address of mail without registration new. But e-mail on Yandex allows to get a new mailbox, having saved contacts and letters from an old box.
2. Register a new box in Yandex, having followed the link "Get a Mailbox" in the left side of the screen. The new box will be absolutely empty, except for the welcome letter from Yandex. But if desired you will be able to have access to the old letters on an old box that will be almost equivalent to change of the login. For this purpose you need to configure "The collector of mail from an old box".
3. Come into the new, just registered box with the new login, click "Settings" in the page upper right corner. The second point among settings is "Collecting mail from other boxes", click on the link.
4. Enter the address and the password of old mail in the fields, click "configure". There will be a page with the settings of the collector of mail offering: save originals of letters in a box, copy the addresses from contacts, assign to all letters a certain tag. You can also select the folder where it is necessary to place letters from an old box. Thus, you receive a new mailbox with other login in which there will be your old contacts and letters. If you to be necessary to switch off this function, come into "Collecting mail" and click "Off" opposite to the address of an old box under the line "The Connected Boxes".
5. The interesting way out is also offered by e-mail Gmail. If you already have a mailbox on Gmail, register a new mailbox with the new login here, having clicked at the top of the Register the New Account page. Enter the address of your old box, the new password and necessary information. After registration come on old mail and fill a form in which specify the new login, the password, a confidential question, the password from a new box and other data. To confirm these data, enter the phone number. To you the message with a confirmation code which needs to be entered into a line will come.
6. Come into any of mailboxes: new or old. Click in the upper left corner your name and select "Account settings". Opposite to the section "Multiple Input" click "Change". Put ticks opposite to points necessary for you: use several accounts in the browser or one. Click "Save".
7. That changes became effective, it is necessary to leave mail and to enter again. Now having clicked the name in the upper right corner, it is possible to select "Log in other account". Thus it is possible to switch quicker between two mailboxes. If you want to replace the login of e-mail of other services, it is necessary to register a new box.
