Safety of use of a mailbox, considerably, depends on complexity of the set password. Also there is a situation when change of the password on Rambler becomes necessary.
Instruction
1. Even if on your mailbox very reliable password is set, do not forget from time to time it to change. Whatever difficult the entered password was, it can be intercepted by means of the keylogger – in this case the hacker will get full access to your account.
2. For change of the password log in the account. In the top right part of the page there is your login, near it you will see an arrow. Click it, the menu will open. Select "Change the password".
3. On the opened page enter the new password twice. You enter its both times by hand, but without copying contents of the first in the second line. If you are mistaken in the first line, then the error will pass also into the second and you, after change of the password, will not be able to enter the account.
4. Having twice entered the new password, enter the characters specified on the picture in the respective field - it is protection against automatic selection of passwords. If characters are badly visible, click "Show other letters".
5. Enter into the last, the lowermost, the field the current password and click "Change the Password". The password will be changed. Before change of the password do not forget to write and save the new password in the reliable place.
6. Change of the password is necessary also when you notice something unusual, happening to your mailbox. For example, new letters which you did not read yet are read. It means that someone got access to your account. Immediately change the password.
7. Having changed the password, just in case change also a confidential question. For this purpose log in the account, click an arrow near your login. Select the My Account item and in the opened window enter a new confidential question, then save changes.
8. Never save the password in the browser, modern Trojan programs are capable to find them and to steal. If to you laziness to enter every time the password, save it in a little changed view – for example, having changed any given character. Even having stolen such password, the hacker will not be able to use it. To you for an entrance to mail will be to change only one sign enough.
