The registration form is the built-in module of the Joomla panel. In order that to add it, it is not required to be the expert in web programming. Instruction
1. Come into the Joomla admin panel and open settings of the built-in modules. Go to the Expanded tab and press the Create button. The window of "The manager of modules" in which it is necessary to select and activate the registration form will appear. Specify the desirable name for heading check near the line "Show Heading".
2. Open the section "Initial Text" in the module of the registration form and edit the standard text for visitors if it does not suit you. In the Login point you can select as the user on the website will be named: under the name or the login. Click "Save" that changes became effective.
3. Upload the Community Builder component to your site. For this purpose pass into the section "Load the File of a Package" and press the Browse button. It will allow you to roll away all actions and to restore operability of the website in case of failure. Define what field you want to edit or add. For example, you want to add the City field to the registration form.
6. Open the default.php file which is according to the link components/com_user/views/register/tmpl. Add the Cities display, having inserted the corresponding HTML-code into the registration form. For this purpose you can copy any other point and edit it under the city (city). Make these changes to the table jos_users. Open the user.php file which is according to the link libraries/joomla/database/table. Add to it the new variable. Save settings and restart the website.
