There are many ways and means of exchanging data with remote computers. Most of them are developed for specific needs and do not mean direct access to the server, that is start on it any processes. However for implementation of administration or the solution of specific tasks can be required to climb on a remote server. It is possible to make it by means of the special client program.

Instruction
1. Add the description of a new session for connection to a remote server. Pass into the section Session, having clicked the corresponding point of the tree located at the left. In the Host Name text box (or IP address) enter a symbolical name or the IP address of the server to which connection will be made. Among the options located below the inscription Connection type select that which corresponds to the data transfer protocol on the basis of which connection will be established. In the Port field enter number of remote port. Set a session name in the field of Saved Sessions. Click Save. Select again added session in the list.
2. Set options of operation of the terminal emulator. Switch in the section Terminal. Activate one of the options Auto, Force on or Force off in the sections Local echo and Local line editing for automatic detection, forced switching off and inclusion, respectively, the modes of a local output of the typed text and local editing lines. In the section Set various terminal options activate or disconnect the options affecting different aspects of display of the text in the terminal.
3. Determine processing parameters by the application of keyboard input. Pass into the section Keyboard. Specify the keys interpreted as Backspace and Home and also type of a layout of function keys and the auxiliary keyboard in the Change the sequences sent by group. In the Application keypad settings group set start state of the numeric keypad and control buttons the cursor.
4. Configure properties of connection. Switch in the section Connection. Select the version of the IP protocol in group of the Internet protocol version controls. Set parameters of support of activity of connection in the Sending of null packets to keep session active group.
5. Set if it is necessary, specific properties of the protocol selected the first step. Pass into one of child sections of the section Connection. Edit parameters. The property page for each protocol has the set of options.
6. Climb on a remote server. Click Open located in the bottom of an application window. Wait for connection. Enter credentials. If they are right, you get access to the interface of the command processor executed on the server.
