Android – the multifunction operating system for mobile devices. You can configure your device on the basis of this platform on reception of e-mail messages by means of the corresponding functions of the menu of a system or third-party utilities.
Instruction
1. Unblock your device and start the Mail program which you can find on the main screen or through the Android menu. If you did not make setup of the built-in e-mail client before, you will see the list of e-mail servers. Depending on the version of the operating system it can be offered to you to enter the address of your e-mail and the password to the specified account at once.
2. Enter your address e-mail in the corresponding line on the system screen. In a line provide your password for access to the account below and click "Further". If necessary check opposite to the Make the Account by Default point. If on the screen it was offered to you to select one of e-mail services, click appropriate section or press the button "Other (POP3/IMAP).
3. Among the list of the offered communication options for connection with the server select POP3 or IMAP value, depending on those settings which are used by your e-mail server. Further you will see connection parameters which were exposed for your account. If the made settings correspond to your mail service, click "Further" or change data to more suitable.
4. Set a name for your account which will become the name for a mailbox among device menu items. After filling of the necessary menu items press the button "Is ready". If all settings were made truly, there will be a loading of messages from the e-mail server. For change of some parameters of communication and loading of letters you can pass into the section "Setup" in mail window.
5. For management of letters you can also use third-party e-mail clients. Pass into a window of the Play Market program, having clicked on the corresponding label. In a search string enter request "Mail". In the list of results select the program most of which of all will be suitable you for work with e-mail.
6. Press the Install button, and then start the utility by means of a label on a desktop or in the main menu. Following instructions on the screen, make setup of your mail account and execute loading of messages. Setup of mail for Android is complete.
