Bashtel is popular Internet service provider in Bashkiria who provides with services the Internet through PPPoE. All setup can be carried out standard means of Windows or Linux, it is only enough to use the corresponding menu items and to enter the data.
Instruction
1. In Windows Vista or Seven open the Start menu and select the Connection item. In the appeared window select the Installation of Connection to Network parameter. For Windows XP this point is located in the Start menu - "Setup" - "Network connections".
2. Specify "Connection to the Internet" in the opened Select Connection Option window then press Next. Further click a left mouse button on the High-speed (with PPPoE) point.
3. Enter a name of user who is specified in attributes to your account. Check "Remember the Password" and in the field a connection name enter any name. For example, Bashinformsvyaz. Then click the Connect key and wait for the end of check of connection and parameters.
4. For setup of the Internet from this provider in Linux pass into NetworkManager, being in a graphic cover of a system. The icon of this program is highlighted in the right top part of a desktop.
5. In the appeared window click on the DSL tab and key "Add" in the right part of the screen. Specify any name in the Connection Name point. If you want connection to be carried out right after login, then check opposite to the Connect Automatically point.
6. In the DSL tab enter a user name and the password. It is possible to leave the field "Service" empty. Click with a mouse button on the IPv4 Parameters tab which is in the right part of a settings window. "Method" specify the Automatically (PPPoE) point in a drop-down menu. Check all specified data and click "Apply".
7. Close all open windows and click with the right key on the Networ Manager icon. In a drop-down list select a name of your created connection and wait for the end of connection. If everything passes successfully, then in the right top part of a window you will see the corresponding notification.
