JSC VolgaTelecom is the largest Internet service provider of Russia servicing 12 regions of the Volga region. Has the most modern telecommunication technologies therefore to be connected and configure through it the Internet will not make big work.
It is required to you
- - computer (laptop or stationary);
- - stationary telephone line;
- - modem.
Instruction
1. Be connected to the Internet in the nearest representative office of JSC VolgaTelecom, sign the contract for communication provision of services. After its signing the login and the password of Internet access will be assigned and issued to you. The modem when signing the contract is given free of charge.
2. Connect the modem and the computer by means of the cable going complete with the modem. The wiring diagram is shown in the drawing.
3. Now configure network connections and the modem (further settings can slightly differ, depending on that version Windows which is installed on your computer).
4. Click "Start-up" on a desktop, select "Control panel", in the opened window click "Network and connections to the Internet", select the Setup of Connection to the Internet task, in the Connections tab, press "Install".
5. After opening of the Installation Wizards of New Connections window press Next, select "Connect to the Internet", then "Establish Connection Manually". Select "Through the high-speed connection requesting a user name and the password".
6. In the opened Connection name window type the name of provider (this name does not influence anything, you can type any text), the window in which you will need to register your login and the password which you received when signing the contract will appear further. After introduction of these data the installation of network connections will be ready, press the corresponding button "Is ready".
7. Setup of your modem for reception of network connection will be the following step. Decide on your brand and precisely follow the instruction for its connection.
