1. If on your computer the Windows 7 operating system is installed, install the mail gadget – the small application which will be placed on a desktop. You can use gadgets: Mail2web, WpCorpMailCheck, Gmail Counter, POP3Cecker and others which can be found on the specialized websites www.wingadget.ru, www.sevengadget.ru and similar web resources.
2. After installation of a mini-application pass to its setup. Enter the address and the password in the respective fields, set the frequency of verification of new letters, select a sound signal for the notification about receipts of mail.
3. It is required to specify the addresses of the POP3 and SMTP protocols in settings of some gadgets also. On the website of a mail service you will be able to find this information in settings of the box. As a rule, protocols have the following appearance: pop3.mail.ru, pop3.yandex.ru, smtp.mail.ru, smtp.yandex.ru, etc.
4. If on your computer earlier version of Windows or work with gadgets causes to you certain inconveniences, configure notifications about arrival of new letters directly in the browser.
5. For this purpose pass into shop of additions (expansions) through the menu of the browser and make search query by the word mail. Several options of mini-applications for the notification about new mail will be offered to you at choice. Select expansion which corresponds to your mail service (Gmail, Yandex, Yahoo, etc.) and install it.
6. Perform tuning of addition, having specified in a settings window the login and the password for an input and also having set a time interval for check of a mailbox. Depending on the selected addition, you will receive notifications on receipt of mail in the form of pop-up windows or digital indication about the number of unread letters in the Entering folder.
