Some people prefer to use for creation of own wireless network of Wi-fi adapters instead of routers. It allows to save means because adapters are much cheaper than Wi-fi of routers and similar devices.

Instruction
1. Select and get Wi-Fi the adapter. Surely specify previously a possibility of creation of access point, using this equipment. Usually such data are in the instruction to the equipment. Sometimes certain conclusions can be drawn after studying images on packaging. Pay attention to the Wi-fi type of the adapter which suits you. These devices can be connected to USB ports or PCI slots. The first type is more convenient to those that similar Wi-Fi adapters can be placed rather far from the computer.
2. Connect the acquired equipment to the computer and install the software. It is necessary for successful setup of the adapter in the access point mode. The majority of such utilities have a similar algorithm of setup.
3. Open the installed program after reset of the computer. Select an operation mode of the Access point device or Soft+AP Mode. Find a floor of Internet and specify that connection through which this computer gets access to a world wide web. It will allow to provide communication of the devices connected to a wireless network with the Internet.
4. Configure settings of connection to network. If the installed program means protection of network the password, then enter it. Do not use simple combinations to prevent connection of unwanted users.
5. If protection of network is carried out by definition of the MAC address of the device, then open the MAC Table or Association Table menu. Enter the MAC addresses of your mobile computers and set for them the Enable parameter. Turn on the laptop, open the Start menu and pass into the Execute point.
6. Enter the cmd command and in the opened menu gather ipconfig/all. Find the Physical address field located in a submenu of the necessary network adapter. Enter this value into the table specified in the previous step. Save adapter Wi-Fi operation parameters.
