Existence of a certain equipment allows to create and configure working network quickly. For this purpose recommend to use the checked schemes of creation of network and to be guided by certain norms.

Instruction
1. Select a set of devices which you will use for creation of your network. If you want to create and configure network at office, then use the router. Fast exchange of information between computers will allow you to set up this equipment, having provided them Internet access. If it is only about a local area network, then buy the network hub.
2. Install the selected equipment in the right place. Connect to it all necessary computers. Use for this purpose network cables of RJ-45 format. Configure router operation parameters if you selected it the equipment for local networking. Network hubs, as a rule, do not need setup.
3. Turn on computers and configure their network adapters. If you activated the DHCP function at setup of the router, then your computers will receive the new IP addresses after each reset. It is not always convenient during the work with office local area network. If you connected printers or the MFP to certain computers, then install the constant IP addresses for network adapters of these PCs.
4. Open the list of active connections and pass to properties of the necessary network interface card. Open the menu of settings of the TCP/IP(v4) protocol. Install a tick near the Use the Following IP Address point. Enter its value. In advance find out in what range there are addresses given by the router. Use the static IP located in this range. Surely you enter different values of the IP addresses. It will help to avoid possible problems in network functioning. During the work with the hub you should set independently IP for all computers.
5. Surely check parameters of network detection of computers. Set permissions for certain users to have an opportunity quickly to communicate within network.
