The modern mobile phone allows to get Internet access without use of any additional devices. Prices for this service are that that communication thus costs cheaper both a voice communication, and exchange of Sms, especially, if the interlocutor is in other city.
Instruction
1. Call help desk of the cellular operator. Ask the consultant a question of whether the service of Internet access through GPRS is connected on your number. If is not present, ask it to connect this service.
2. Ask the consultant to send you a configuration Sms for automatic adjustment of access point (APN) intended for Internet access, but not WAP. When the message comes, make sure that it contains a configuration for such access point, and only after it save parameters.
3. To phone learn from the instruction how to find the list of the saved access points. If in this list there are already points intended for access to WAP. delete them accidentally not to select.
4. Configure phone so that the new access point was selected by default. The procedure of this operation depends on a phone model. Remember that at some operators at the wrong setup the Internet access is all the same provided, but on prices for access to WAP.
5. Switch on and off phone. Start its built-in browser and try to open any website. If it at you turned out, so the service is connected.
6. Download the Opera Mini, UCWEB and BOLT browsers in phone. Unlike the built-in browser, they interact with servers not directly, and via the special server intended for reduction of volume of the traffic consumed by phone.
7. Learn whether your operator has a service of unlimited Internet access from phone and how many it costs. Some operators have an unlimited access at which only the traffic created by the Opera Mini browser is not rated costs much cheaper than unlimited access at which any traffic is not rated. In this case, the UCWEB and BOLT browsers can be not installed. It is necessary to consider, however, that at the connected service of an unlimited tariff for the Opera Mini browser the downloading of files is rated usually even if it is carried out by this browser.
8. If desired, install on phone the additional programs requiring Internet access (clients of IRC, FTP, Telnet, ICQ and Jabber, cartographic applications, virtual Internet radio receivers). It is especially convenient to use them if you selected service of full unlimited access.
