Connection to the Internet through a telephone line is carried out by means of the special equipment. ADSL modems happen two types. To the first devices treat with support of Wi-fi network, and to the second – the equipment, is not more capable to work in the mode of access point.

- - patch cord.
Instruction
1. Both types of the corresponding routers will be suitable for connection to the ADSL Internet of the laptop. It is natural to maintain mobility of the computer, it is better to use the equipment with support of Wi-fi network. Buy the suitable router.
2. Connect the equipment to the alternating current main. By means of a splitter connect DSL port of the router to a telephone line. Take a patch cord which should be included in the package of the network device, and connect it to LAN channel.
3. Connect the second end of a cable to the network adapter of the mobile computer. Turn on the laptop and Wi-Fi the router. After loading of the operating system open the web browser.
4. Enter the initial IP address of the router and click the ENTER key. Pass into the WAN menu after start of the interface of settings. Perform tuning of parameters of connection with the Internet.
5. Use the modes recommended by your provider. Activate the NAT function. Check near the Enable DCHP Server parameter. Save settings, having clicked Apply.
6. Now open the Wi-fi menu. Create wireless access point and select router operation parameters from available options. Enter the password necessary for connection to this network. Do not use simple combinations if you want to prevent undesirable connections.
7. Reboot the DSL router. Try to go on-line from the laptop. If the equipment got access to network, disconnect a LAN cable from the mobile computer. Execute connection to the created access point.
8. Wait some time until the adapter of a wireless network receives the IP address from the router. Check a possibility of connection with the Internet. The described method allows to connect a large number of mobile computers to the Internet, having signed only one contract with provider.
