Instruction
1. When using the TP-LINK TL-WR841ND router you can connect up to 4 computers in network and also an unlimited number of devices with Wi-Fi the interface. For connection of the laptop to the Internet through wireless connection it is absolutely optional to have houses the computer, it is enough to configure the router by means of hardwired connection on the laptop.
2. If you the user of the Windows XP operating system, setup of connection needs to be made by means of an applet "Connection on a local area network — Properties". Click the Start menu, select the Connections item, then "Display all connections".
3. In the opened window right-click on the Connection on a Local Area Network icon and click "Properties". Put the cursor on the Internet Protocol of TCP/IP point and click "Properties".
4. In the opened window give a mark in the Use the Following IP Address point and fill the following fields: IP address 192.168.0.1 (standard ip for connection of this kind), a subnet mask is always exposed automatically, after click on empty fields of this value. Click twice "OK" to close connection setup windows.
5. For the operating room of the Windows Vista and Seven systems it is necessary to do the same, but the name of an applet has other name - "Control Center of Networks".
6. After performing these actions, connect the router according to the scheme specified in the instruction for application. Do not forget that you need to install the special software (a small CD disk in a set). It is also possible to download a firmware from the official site and to install it. After reset of the laptop and the router the wireless internet access will be available to you.
7. If the signal did not appear, try to configure additional PPPoE-connection which model is also specified in the instruction.
