For creation of home local area networks sometimes it is necessary to use several devices at once. For stable work of the combined network two ADSL modems can be required, each of which will perform the necessary functions.

Instruction
1. If you have on hand the ADSL modem with several LAN ports and the similar device supporting works with Wi-fi network you need to configure their synchronous work correctly. It will allow to connect to the Internet at the same time several computers and mobile devices. Connect a telephone cable to DSL port of the multichannel modem. Use for this purpose a splitter to lower the interference level in network.
2. Connect the necessary computers to the modem, using available ports LAN. Surely leave one port free. Turn on one of computers and open the web interface of settings of the modem. Establish and configure connection with the server of provider. As to make it, specify at an official forum of the company, the providing service of Internet access better.
3. Save settings of connection. Turn off the DHCP function. In this scheme it is better to use the static IP addresses. Connect this computer to LAN port of other modem.
4. Open its web interface. Select the WAN menu and perform its tuning. In this case it is necessary to assign LAN channel the main. I.e. the device should get Internet access not through DSL port, and through LAN port. As the DNS server (access point to the Internet) use the IP address of the first modem.
5. Open the Wi-fi menu and create wireless access point. Select operation parameters of a wireless network necessary to you. Save settings of the modem and disconnect from it the desktop computer.
6. Connect by means of the network cable the second ADSL modem to the first device. For this purpose use free ports LAN of both modems. Reboot both devices. Wait for full load of modems. Connect mobile computers to a wireless network. Make sure that all devices got Internet access.
