1. Let's consider option of cheap connection to the Internet. It perfectly will suit those at whom one of computers is practically not switched off. All expenses in this case will come down to purchase of one network cable and additional network interface card (if such not yet).
2. It is necessary to begin with the choice of the computer which will be connected to the Internet directly. Parameters of the choice are rather simple: it should be included bigger amount of time and have a sufficient capacity to process two flows of Internet connection. This method was tested for the PC with the following characteristics: the one-nuclear processor with a frequency of 2.2 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, the operating system – Windows 7.
3. Apparently from the previous description, it is not obligatory for you to possess very powerful computer at all. Connect the second network interface card to the selected PC. It can be both the internal card with the PCI connector, and the external USB adapter.
4. Let's begin, perhaps, with setup of the second computer. Connect both PCs the network cable. Open settings of a local area network of the second PC. Pass to properties of TCP/IPv4 protocol. Set the static address equal 192.168.0.2. Pay attention to the Main Gateway and The Preferred DNS Server points. They need to be filled surely, otherwise the computer will not get Internet access. Enter into them IP address 192.168.0.1.
5. Leave the second PC and pass to the first. Configure connection to the Internet. It is better for you to know how to make it. If you doubt correctness of settings, contact specialists of provider.
6. Open the Network Connections menu. You should have an icon of your connection with the Internet. Open its properties. Select the Access tab. Install a tick near the topmost point. He is responsible for ensuring access to the Internet of other computers in network. In the following field specify your network connection.
7. Open settings of a local area network between computers. Enter constant IP address 192.168.0.1. Be reconnected to the Internet.
