1. For a start buy the network cable of necessary length. It is necessary to use RJ45 format cables with LAN connectors for connection of switches. If you independently press out wires, use method of direct compression as the return (cross, cross) is often applied to connect two computers among themselves.
2. In each network hub release on one LAN port. If you use the device with automatic adjustment, then channels can be any. Do not use LAN1 port during the work with the configured switch better.
3. Connect the network cable to both devices. Reboot both switches if the indicator did not begin to blink intensively. Now all devices which are connected to data of hubs is a part of a single local area network.
4. If network hubs are connected to routers or other similar devices, make sure that "ring" connection is absent. The fact is that specialists categorically do not recommend to connect in pairs among themselves three network hubs. It will lead to what these devices will stop working correctly.
5. And if all of you found "ring" connection, just reconnect switches. Thus execute new connections that to each other network devices were not connected on several channels at once.
6. Avoid use of very long network cables. It can lead to the fact that data transmission rate through a local area network will decrease. Do not connect to several switches, being a part of one local area network, laptops or desktop computers at once.
7. Set independently the IP addresses to all computers when you perform tuning of a local area network with use of switches. Remember that each IP address should be unique.
