ICQ – the manager for communication online. Initially the name of the popular program looked as I seek you that means "I look for you". In process of growth of the popularity ICQ became not only way for acquaintance, but also the convenient means of communication between friends.
Instruction
1. Each person uses the Internet and services of online communication differently. Someone just communicates in ICQ, someone sends each other photos during the holiday, for someone it is one of opportunities of business communication. Anyway, sometimes the messages transferred according to ICQ may contain important information therefore many users save the history of correspondence.
2. Open a main window of ICQ service. Over the list of your contacts find the Menu button and left-click on it. Find the column "History" in the opened window, click on it. Before you there will be your correspondence which was saved from the moment of the last use of the program. If you have enough these messages, then we can just copy them. Select the text with a mouse and right-click on it. In the opened context menu select "Copy". The same action can be selected the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + C. Insert the saved text into the necessary text document.
3. That the history of your messages was saved at each use of ICQ, click on the link "Settings of History" which is under the shown correspondence. Here you can select interlocutors whose messages will always be saved the program. Also install "ticks" at necessary parameters: whether you want to save only text messages or you need the transferred media files. Having performed necessary operations, click OK to save changes.
4. After the program is configured to save automatically the history of your messages, you can look at them if you right-click addressed to the user in your contact list. The opened context menu will show the list of possible actions. Select the column "History", and for you the window with the saved correspondence will open. Select the text necessary to you and click "Copy".
5. The history of correspondence of ICQ is saved not on the Internet, and on your computer. Open the folder in which your ICQ is installed. By default it is a disk C, Program Files. Find the ICQ folder, and find in it the internal folder with the history of messages. Text documents are distributed by name the interlocutor or to his number ICQ. You can copy both all document, and a part of the text if you open it.
