There are several types of a guest access which can be created by means of the desktop computer or the laptop. Their setup depends on the purpose of implementation of this connection.

Instruction
1. If you need to configure guest connection to your provider, then at first create new network connection. Connect the modem to the computer and turn on both devices. Open the Start menu and pass into the Network Connections menu. Open the Creation of New Connection point.
2. In the appeared window press Next and select the Connect to the Internet parameter. Press Next and click the Establish Connection Manually point. In the new menu select the Via the Normal Modem parameter and press Next.
3. Wait for emergence of the new menu and fill the Connection Name field. Now enter into the column "Phone number" those data which are necessary for connection with provider in the Guest mode, for example Guest. Press Next and save settings of connection.
4. If you need to provide a possibility of guest connection to your computer, then at first activate the corresponding account. Open the control panel and select the Accounts of Users menu. Now in the Management of Other Account menu click the Guest account and click "Include".
5. Select the folder which needs to be opened for external access. Click it with the right mouse button and guide the cursor at the General Access point. In the deployed window select the Specific Users parameter. In the appeared field enter "Guest" and click "Add".
6. Select an access mode to the folder (read and write or only reading). Click "General Access" and wait for use of parameters. Remember that practically any user will be able to be connected to your computer, using the guest account. It considerably reduces the computer security level if you selected the Read and write mode. Apply this method only during the work in the local area network.
