The vast majority of owners of several computers and laptops prefers to create houses own local area network. Besides, they have a desire to provide all these devices with Internet access.

- Network hub, additional network interface card.
Instruction
1. For creation of similar network it is possible to use several options. We will consider not the most convenient of them, but the cheapest. All expenses will come down to acquisition of the additional network interface card and network hub. Note: if you need to connect 2 or 3 computers, then it is possible to do also without use of the hub.
2. Let's begin creation of a similar local area network with the choice of the computer which will perform functions of the router. It should be rather powerful PC to which you will connect the additional network adapter.
3. Buy the network hub (if it is required) and the second network interface card. If you have no free ports PCI for internal connection of the card, then use the network adapter connected to USB port.
4. Install the network interface card and connect to it the hub. Do not forget to pick up necessary drivers. Connect a cable of connection with the Internet to the first adapter.
5. Configure connection with the server of provider on the selected computer. Open its properties. Select the Access tab and allow other computers of a local area network to get Internet access. The second network adapter should receive constant IP address 192.168.0.1. If it did not occur, then hammer it manually.
6. Connect other computers to the network hub. Pass to properties of network connection on one of them. Specify for this network adapter the static (constant) IP address different from the server address only by the fourth value. Find The Preferred DNS Server and Main Gateway points. Set for them IP addresses value of the first computer.
7. Repeat the previous step, changing setting of other computers of network. Naturally, it is necessary to enter every time new IP addresses value.
