The chat is intended for message exchange of users of the website in real time. It helps to attract new audience on the website and to save old. Generally process of creation of a chat comes down to adding of the HTML-code on one of pages of your website.
It is required to you
- - HTML-code of a mini-chat;
- - the program by means of which it is possible to edit the HTML-code, for example, of Adobe Dreamweaver CS5;
- - FTP client, for example, CuteFTP 8 Professional;
- - knowledge of bases of the HTML language.
Instruction
1. Register a chat on one of services: chatovod.ru, chatium.com, chatlist.su, xat.com. For example, in chatovod.ru service for creation of a new chat think up its name and the address of the page. The address of the page should contain not less than four and no more than twenty characters. Fill all fields offered by service and click to Create a chat.
2. Enter the mailbox which address you specified during creation of a chat and activate it. Enter the control panel of a chat and find in it the HTML-code for an insert on the website. Select one of four versions of the code and copy it.
3. By means of the Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 program open the HTML page selected for a mini-chat and insert into it the code of a chat. Using the FTP client, load the changed page on the server of your website.
4. In the control panel of a chat install its settings. If you wish that your chat was displayed in a directory tree of chatovod.ru service, check opposite to the corresponding text box. Your chat will appear in the directory after consideration by his moderator.
5. Select design of a chat. At the same time it is possible to use as ready design, and to install some settings manually, such as background color, font size and background picture. After saving these settings the code of a chat on your website does not need to be changed.
6. Add the administrator and the moderator of a chat. Any users registered in service can be them. Moderators have the right to ban and unban users, and administrators, besides, have the VIP-status and can add and edit declarations in a chat free of charge.
