How to create a page template

Create templates of pages and also post online them the WordPress application allows. It is very simple to do it. It is required to you • - WordPress application; • - computer with Internet access. Instruction 1. Download and install the WordPress application. Files which define templates are located in the folder with a subject. To create own template, it is enough to open the new file. 2. Set a name to your new template, for example, of snarfer.php. It is possible to call the file somehow, the main thing that it was with the .php extension (the reserved Theme filenames command allows to learn about names which are forbidden to be used a system; these are the special names reserved by the application for internal use). 3. It is better to specify the most often used text structures. 5. Save a page template. Now the application will automatically place it in the folder with a subject where it will become available for the choice during creation or changes of the page. 6. Here it is possible to specify the list of all created templates. For conversion of a template to the parent page or the subpage select the corresponding item in a drop-down menu.
