Between two desktop computers it is possible to create wire or a wireless local area network. Both of these types have the advantages and shortcomings therefore the choice of option depends on your preferences.

Instruction
1. If you need to provide fast information exchange between computers, then create hardwired connection. Buy the twisted pair cable of the necessary length. Soyedinin this cable with network adapters of both computers.
2. Turn on both PCs and wait for loading of the operating system. After a while there will be an automatic detection and setup of network. Configure settings of network interface cards of both computers. Open a Network and Sharing Center and click on a puntka "Change of parameters of the adapter". Select an icon of the necessary network interface card and pass to properties of this equipment.
3. Open settings of the internet protocol TCP/IPv4 and click the Use the Following IP Address point. Set its value and save settings. Execute a similar algorithm for installation of the constant IP address of the network interface card of other computer.
4. If you decided to create a wireless network, then get two Wi-Fi of the adapter. These payments are connected to PCI port of the motherboard of the computer or to the USB connector. Connect adapters to computers and install for them drivers. This method is rational if you use the desktop and mobile computer. In that case you will need only one Wi-Fi the adapter.
5. Open a Network and Sharing Center and pass to management of wireless networks. Click "Add" and specify type of Computer-computer network. Enter a name of future connection and set the password.
6. Connect the second computer to the created wireless network. Configure operation parameters of wireless adapters, having installed for them the static IP addresses.
