The tab is an element of the graphic interface which allows the user to switch between several documents in one application. In the browser they are necessary for switching between several websites. Having started the Google Chrome browser, you will see the first homepage, slightly above it will be there is an address bar which is at the same time and search. A little more higher the first and only tab with the name of the website opened at the moment will be located. Opening of tabs by means of the interface

New tabs can open also on clicking some links. The thing is that links on the websites happen two types. On clicking the first type the transition somewhere within the existing tab will be made. The second type of links opens the page in a new tab. Opening of a tab can be made besides by means of a menu item. On the right above click on an icon of the menu of the browser, it looks as three horizontal strips. Then click the New Tab point.
Keyboard shortcuts
The new tab can be opened also by means of the keyboard shortcuts which are in advance prepared in the program. Having clicked Ctrl+T on the keyboard, in Google Chrome the new tab will open. If any website, and the address already was unintentionally closed not to remember in any way, the Ctrl+Shift+T keyboard shortcut will come to the rescue. By means of it it is possible to open a tab with just closed website in Google Chrome.
When there is too much tabs
Sometimes there is such situation when tabs in the browser is opened much. Because of it the computer begins to work slowly and does not cope with objectives. In that case bookmarks and their competent sorting by means of special folders can save a situation.
Open the menu on the right up represented in the form of three horizontal strips. Then select the Bookmarks item, further "The manager of bookmarks". Here, in the opened window, right-click on the empty field and select the Add the Folder item. Call the new folder as it is pleasant to you, having determined by that category for the whole group of the websites. For example, it can be the Miscellaneous folder.
Now open each open website and in an address bar look for an asterisk icon on the right, stick on it. Specify as the folder just created, then click "Is ready". Now the tab added to favorites can be deleted, and in need of it it will always be possible to find, having clicked Ctrl+T and having selected in the menu of bookmarks which is near an address bar, the Miscellaneous folder. Thus it is possible to clean and sort all tabs on bookmarks, the computer will work in turn much better.
