Counter Strike: Source popular network game. With its help it is possible to organize an online fight on local or Internet networks. For this purpose it is enough to use menu items of a game or to install the special program.
Instruction
1. Means of a game it is necessary to make settings for start of the server. Open the game Counter Strike and wait for its start.
2. In the main menu of the appeared screen select the New game item in the left lower part of the monitor. In the appeared menu select the card on which you would like to play and click Start. You can also select settings of the server on the Settings tab. Here you will be able to set quantity of money with which from the very beginning there is a player and also time which is given on purchase of weapon.
3. As soon as a game is created, you will be able to invite other players from the local area network, having told them the local IP address.
4. If you want to invite players from the Internet, key "~" in left we will return to a keyboard corner. This button is located by the first under Esc. In the appeared menu enter request of sv_lan 0 and click Enter. Transfer the IP address to other players in a format the address: 27015. You can learn the IP address of the computer, having used one of online services of its definition.
5. It is also possible to create the server by means of the HldsUpdateTool utility. Load this program and start its installation. In the course of installation it will be offered to you to select the folder where files servers will be installed. Select or create any directory and remember path to it. In the list of regions of a game select the Europe item.
6. Pass into a directory where the program was installed. Start the hldsupdatetool.exe file and wait for the end of a procedure of update of the program.
7. Create the text document on a desktop and change its expansion with .txt to .bat. It is possible to add the text document through a context menu, having clicked with the right mouse button on a desktop and having selected "Create" - "The text document".
8. Open the turned-out file with the help "Notepad" ("File" - "Open with the help") and enter the following code:
Start/wait hldsupdatetool.exe
Start/wailt hldsupdatetool.exe – command update – game "Counter-Strike Source" – dir.
Exit
Save changes and double-click on the created document. The command line will open and loading of files of the server will begin. After that pass into a directory of the server and select Start.bat. Program installation is complete.
