When entering in an address bar of the name of the website the majority of browsers obligingly offer hints in the form of a drop-down list or otherwise. It does Internet surfing quicker and more simply, but also parades its history. Fortunately, all popular browsers have functionality for removal of similar hints.
Instruction
1. In Mozilla Firefox click a menu item "Log" and in the appeared Show All Log menu (or use the Ctrl+Shift+H hot keys). Select the period during which you visited at the link and double-click on it with the left mouse button. The list of links will open. Select necessary and click Delete on the keyboard. If you do not remember the period in which visited at this link, use search which is in the window upper right corner.
2. In Opera click a menu item "Tools"> "General settings" (or click Ctrl+F12 hot keys), in the appeared window select the Expanded tab and click the History menu. Press the top Clean button - so you delete all history Internet surfing on this browser and also hints which appear in an address bar when entering the name of the domain. To delete not everything, and some links, click the Ctrl+Shift+H hot keys, in the appeared window select necessary links and click Delete on the keyboard. Keep in mind that thus you will be able to delete only those links which appear in a drop-down menu at a set of the name of the website in an address bar, but not hints.
3. In Google Chrome click an icon with a wrench, and then the parameters point. In the appeared window select the Expanded tab, find the section "Personal data" and click on "Delete data on the viewed pages". Check near the Clean the History of Viewings point (near the others remove) and press the Delete Data on the Viewed Pages button.
4. In Internet Explorer click a menu item "Service"> "Internet Options", find the section "History of Viewing" and click the Delete button which is in it. In a new window put ticks near the Save Data of the Chosen Websites and Log points and click on "Delete". To close a window of the observer click OK.
