Instruction
1. If at an input on the website of social network VKontakte you are offered to register again the account, having sent for this purpose the SMS on the short number - you fell a victim of a virus spam. Open the WINDOWS folder on a disk C, pass into system32 folder, then into drivers and etc, find the hosts file.
2. Double-click on it and in the appeared list select "Notepad". This text file contains comments of the developer which are noted by the sign of a grid #. Also it should contain a line: 127.0.0.1 localhost. Delete the text going after this line.
3. Delete all temporary files and cookies created by the browser. If you use IE, click with the right button its icon and select "Properties". Go to the General tab and in the section "History of Viewing" select "Delete", having noted the corresponding points.
4. In the Mozilla browser come into the Tools menu and select the option "Erase Recent History". Open the Clean list, note "Everything". In the section "Details" put checkboxes opposite to the points "Cookies", "Log of Visits", "Cache", "Active Sessions", then click "Clean now".
5. If you installed Opera, select "Settings", then the Delete Personal Data point. Open the Detailed Setup list, mark the necessary points and, then, delete contents, having clicked Apprx.
6. In "Control panel" click the Administration node, start the equipment of "Service". Pay attention to the list of the started services in the right part of the screen. Stop not having relations to runtime of programs installed by you or a system. For this purpose open by right click a drop-down menu on any given service and choose the Feet command.
7. Further in a drop-down menu select "Properties", in the section "Executable file" find the folder in which there is a program starting process. If the file will seem to you suspicious, it is better to go online from other computer and to find information on it by means of search engines. If you have bases to believe that this file is a virus, delete it.
8. Start the editor of the register. That to carry out it, click the Win+R keyboard shortcut, cause the command line and, then, enter regedit. In the Editing menu choose the Find command, enter a file name. Now click "Find further …" If the system will find a virus, delete the folder containing it.
9. If independently it was not succeeded to cope with this problem, download anti-virus AVZ4 utility and start it on the computer. Note the disks needing check, in the File menu choose the Scanning command. After its end specify the option "System recovery" in the same menu. Note the processes needing correction.
