The Mail.ru Agent service is used by users of the mail.ru e-mail server for communication by means of short messaging. The account of this service is tied to a mailbox that is not always convenient.
Instruction
1. Before removal of the account of the agent from your mailbox be defined whether you will use this e-mail address further. If the mailbox is also not necessary to you, pass to the page of its removal then your account in the agent will not be tied to it and also will be removed.
2. Enter the following link into an address bar: http://win.mail.ru/cgi-bin/delete. Pay attention that for performing this action you need to have access to your mailbox therefore enter the login and the password in the corresponding form of an input.
3. Working with indications of a system, delete your mailbox then together with it also to be removed your account in service of instant messaging Mail.ru Agent. Restoring access can be possible only at registration of the mailbox of the same name if at that time the user name is not occupied any more.
4. If you need to delete only the agent from your mailbox, pass to setup of the account in a system and delete it, confirm action in the way specified in the menu. After that on your mailbox letters will not come with messages about actions in mail.ru agent as the user account will be deleted.
5. If you need to save the account of the agent, find point of change of a mailbox in the menu. Pay attention that in this case you should have an access to both from them.
6. Come into yours a mailbox and confirm change of the e-mail address. Pass to the menu of incoming messages of e-mail into the menu of the second mailbox and confirm changes. Pay attention, existence of this function can depend on what software version you use on your computer. Do not forget that after removal of the account in the agent you will not be able to restore it.
