1. It is rather simple to be protected from the simplest types of a phishing. For example, the letter from bank in which you opened the account came to your mailbox, and in it you under any given pretext ask to follow the given reference. The main rule is to follow such links never. If you assume that the letter is valid from bank, visit the homepage of its website, but according to other link – for example, found in the searcher. Then from the homepage try to get on that which is specified in the letter – just substitute at line after a domain name of the website the necessary directories. In this case you with guarantee will not get on the phishing page.
2. The most dangerous types of a phishing are that are connected with hit on the computer of the user of espionage software. In attempt to pass, for example, to the page of online banking, the Trojan program intercepts request and redirects the user on the phishing page. Without suspecting anything, it enters credentials which immediately fall into hands of swindlers. In this case the trojan does not have need to intercept the entered data and somewhere to send them (what the firewall can prevent to) – the user enters them.
