The websites or their pages which are in output of search engines sometimes stop being relevant, contain any undesirable information or are initially created not for a public inspection. There is also it that private data of users because of a defect of the webmaster appear in open access. It can be corrected.
Instruction
1. Just delete the website - it is the easiest and radical way and approaches, of course, only if the website is not necessary to you any more. After a while after removal the searchers will cease to show it in delivery. For this purpose it is necessary to wait for the next reindexation. When accessing the address error message 404 will be given - "The page is not found".
2. To remove the specific page from delivery, specify the meta-tag in its HTML code: <meta name= "" robots"" content= "" noindex, nofollow""/>. Arrange the code in the <head> tags and </head>.
3. Close pages of the website from indexation, having edited the robots.txt file. It is in a root folder of the website and intends for search robots. The webmaster specifies parameters to which the robot should adhere at indexation of pages in it. To delete the specific page from search, in the robots.txt file insert the following code: User-Agent: * Disallow: /index.html. To close the page, for example, from Yandex, specify it: User-agent: Yandex Disallow: /index.html. Wait for reindexation - only after that pages will disappear from search. But if on them there are external references, this way can not work. In certain cases robots can ignore your instructions in the robots.txt file.
4. Delete pages from delivery, having visited the websites of search engines. To remove a resource from Yandex, come on webmaster.yandex.ru/delurl.xml, enter url of your page in the field and click "Delete". To make the same in Google, come into the section "Tools for Webmasters", previously having authorized in the account.
5. If you found about yourself on the Internet any information, but are not the owner of a resource, appeal to the site administrator to delete these data. As a last resort it is possible to contact support of the most search engine.
