After the main works connected with creation of the website are done, there comes the turn of placement of this resource on the Internet. In other words, for the website as the book on the shelf, it is necessary to find the suitable place in the Internet. Such places provide special services – hosters: their machines with an installed software (server) are round the clock connected to network.

Instruction
1. Register a domain name of the website. Domains of the second level consist of two parts, respectively, domains of the third level – from three parts. All owners of domains of the second level can create domains of the third level therefore such domains are often used on free hostings.
2. Before filling in the website on the hosting server, define what disk space is required for this project. After suitable traffic is selected and payment for it (if placement of the website is planned on a paid hosting) is made, you pass to installation of the website to a hosting.
3. One of ways to fill in the website on a hosting – to make it by means of the FTP client, for example, of the Total Commander program. FTP is an information transfer protocol: with its help transfer, copy and send data to the Internet.
4. For connection to the server on FTP install the Total Commander program on the personal computer and start it. Then find the Connect to the FTP Server button in the toolbar and click it. On the screen the window will appear, in it press the Add button therefore the FTP Connection Setup dialog box will open.
5. Fill the Server, Account, Connection Name and Password fields. After filling of these sections do not forget to check opposite to the Passive Mode of Exchange field. Then click OK and return to the Connection with the FTP Server window.
6. For connection with the server of a hosting press the Connect button. The window which opened on the screen will consist of two halves: left (files which are on your computer) and right (information on a hosting). To copy the file from the PC on the server, just transfer it from one column (left) to other (right).
7. It is possible to fill in the website on the server of a hosting and by means of the browser with FTP support. For example, Internet Explorer possessing the simple and convenient interface of folders Windows can be such browser.
8. It is possible to fill in the website on the server from the hosting control panel. Advantage of this way – a possibility of loading on a hosting of both separate files, and the zip archive.
