1. The security key is created by means of the installation wizard of the router. There are three main types of encryption: access of Wi-fi (WPA and WPA2), Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) and 802.1x. To find a security key on a shortcut bar start the Start menu and select from the available list "Control panel".
2. After performing these actions the window where it is possible to change different settings of parameters of the computer will open. It is necessary to select category "Network and Internet". Further left-click on the Network and Sharing Center function.
3. The window with the main data on network and settings of connections should open. It is required to select the Management of Wireless Networks item. As a result on the screen of the monitor the list of all available wireless networks will appear.
4. Then right-click by the name of a wireless network to which the password was earlier forgotten.
5. Click the Safety tab. The window with different functions should open. It is necessary to find the Display the Entered Signs point and to check nearby. After a while on the monitor of the computer the security code will appear.
6. The key may contain in the structure not only letters of the latin alphabet, but also digits. This method is used not accidentally as a similar combination of characters rather difficult. It will allow to protect data from illegal access.
7. You can use a key in two ways. It needs to be copied to the special field for an insert or to type independently on the keyboard. The first option is more effective as in this case the possibility of a typo is excluded. As a result there is a possibility of change of earlier forgotten password.
