1. If you want to learn the DNS server of your provider, start the command line by means of the Execute utility in the Start menu of the Windows XP operating system or in a search string of Windows Vista or Seven. Enter in it cmd and click the ENTER key then at you on the screen the small window of black color should be displayed.
2. I use Latin layout of the keyboard, enter ipconfig/all. At you the most complete information on the used provider, including its DNS server should be displayed. Pay attention that at the time of performing this action it is necessary that connection on a local area network and Internet connection should be included.
3. To learn DNS of your provider, visit its official site or use other reliable source of information then view data regarding this information in the help section. Also often similar information is provided on payment cards and in help booklets, provided to clients of the company.
4. Call technical support service of the provider of the Internet used by you then pass into the section of obtaining the help information if such it is provided by the system of an auto answer if it is absent, contact the employee of technical support for obtaining information interesting you.
5. Left-click twice on your icon of active - Internet connections on a shortcut bar in the screen lower right corner. At you the small window comprising information on connection should open. Go in it to the tab with the name "Data" and view data of the used DNS server. Also you can find data of DNS on the different websites devoted to the help information of providers of the Internet.
