First of all, clean a tray from background programs then disconnect those which can consume traffic, through a task manager.
2. For fast web surfing use the browser which supports shutdown of pictures and flash-animation. Now practically all browsers support these functions, but use of the Opera mini browser will be the most optimal solution in a question of economy of traffic. Its difference from other browsers is that before sending data for the computer it squeezes them to sixty-seventy percent from initial volume. Also you can disconnect pictures and loading of flash of animation for achievement of maximum speed of loading of pages.
3. Also pay attention to background processes which use the channel of Internet access by optimization of connection for loadings. Set the maximum number of loadings equal to unit, and a priority for a download manager to maximum. If you use a torrent client, make sure that the maximum speed of return is equal to one kilobit per second and also in the maximum priority for all downloadings.
