Design of the websites, including the sizes of the used fonts, is projected proceeding from average preferences of web surfers. Sometimes - from preferences of web designers, but ever nobody asks personally your opinion in this respect. But you have a choice - or to agree with the offered design, or to seize the opportunities of modern browsers and to modify the sizes at discretion.
Instruction
1. In the observer of Internet Explorer there is an opportunity to select one of five preset sizes of fonts on the page. To make it, it is necessary in the menu, in the section "View", guide the mouse pointer at the Font size point - it action will open the list from five points. However such method will work only on those texts in the page which font size is not specified by the author in its marking in an explicit form. The alternative option is to increase all elements of the page at once, including also fonts. It can be done, clicking the CTRL and "Plus" keyboard shortcuts or "Minus", or scrolling the scroll wheel at the clicked CTRL key. The truth at the same time proportionality of change of the sizes of different elements is observed in this browser only to some limit.
2. The Opera browser is much better, than Internet Explorer copes with scaling of the page. Here it can be done by clicking of the CTRL and "Plus" / "Minus" keyboard shortcut, or scrolling of the scroll wheel at the clicked CTRL key too. Each step increases or reduces the size by 10%. Same it is possible to do and having passed into the menu of the browser, into the section "Page", and in it into the section "Scale". In Opera there is an opportunity to set use of own stylesheets with sizes of fonts necessary to you. In this case the browser will ignore the installations of the sizes set in the code of the page, replacing them with specified by you. To reach setup of use of styles, you need to click the CTRL keyboard shortcut + F12, to go to the Expanded tab, then in the section "Contents" and to click "Configure Styles".
3. In the Mozilla Firefox menu there is a section "View" too, and in it the subsection "Scale" where it is possible to change the size of all elements of the page. Here it is possible to give a mark at the Only the Text point - then only the sizes of fonts will be scaled, leaving other elements without changes. This installation will work also at change of the sizes with clicking of the CTRL keys and "Plus" / "Minus" and when scrolling the scroll wheel with the clicked CTRL key.
4. In the Google Chrome browser the scaling of the page is taken out directly in the menu. Clicking of the icon with the image of a wrench in the upper right corner of a window opens this menu and the size of elements of the page it is possible to change, clicking icons plus or minus near the inscription "Scale". But also clicking of the CTRL and "Plus" / "Minus" keyboard shortcut here too works, as well as scrolling of the scroll wheel at the keyed CTRL.Zdes is as well advanced settings of fonts. To open them in the same main menu, select the Parameters item, and then go to the Expanded tab. There in the section "Web contents" there are drop-down lists for the choice of the sizes of fonts and scale of pages. Except them there is a button with the inscription "Configure Fonts" opening a bookmark with setup options of the sizes of fonts of two types and minimum valid size.
5. In the Safari browser if to open the section of the View menu, then it is possible to change scale, clicking the Increase Scale and Reduce Scale points. The option "Change Only Text Scale" allows to change font size without scaling of other elements of the page. Besides, if in the section "Editing" to click the Setup point, and then in a settings window to go to the Additions tab, then it will be possible to specify minimum valid size of fonts of the page. Scaling by means of the CTRL and "Plus" / "Minus" keyboard shortcut here too works, as well as by means of scrolling of the scroll wheel at the clicked CTRL key.
