How to insert comments on the website

Form of comments – a useful thing for the website. With its help the users will be able to express opinions and to discuss articles, images or any other material. For this purpose it is necessary to install a script or the module of comments.

Instruction

1. Install the module of comments of VKontakte for Joomla. For a start download JL VKCOMMENTS.

2. Pass into the control panel of the Joomla engine. Select a menu item "Installation", in a drop-down list click "Components" (Installers-> Components).

3. Press the Install a New Component button. In the field of "Load a Setup Package" click "Overview". Find archive with the module on your disk. Further press the Upload and Install button.

4. Sometimes automatic installation takes place not absolutely successfully, then it is necessary to configure a component manually: unpack archive with in any folder on a local disk.

5. Be connected through FTP to your server, having entered the data provided by a hoster. Pass into a root directory of the website, come into media and create in it any folder, for example, / vkcom. Copy in it files of a component.

6. Enter in adminpanel Joomla. Select item "Installation-> Components" (Installers-> Components). Press the Install a New Component button. Specify a full path to a directory on the server in the section "Install from the Directory", in our case it is media/vkcom. Further press the Install button.

7. Exist as well free scripts of comments, one of them can be downloaded at the link at the end of article. Load a script and unpack it on the server in any folder.

8. Pass into phpmyAdmin and create the new database. Import earlier created tables to the new database: select the SQL tab, select db.sql.gzip, press the button "Went" (in old versions of the panel import is carried out through the Import tab).

9. Select the Privileges tab and create the new user. Open the include/cfg.php file and change settings of connection to the database. Check working capacity, having opened the index.php file.
