Instruction
1. Start the ICQ 6.5, ICQ 7.0 program. For this purpose click twice a label with the image of a camomile on a desktop. Click on any contact from your contact list twice, and press a smile image button to insert a smile into the message. Select necessary and click on it once. The smile will appear in a message box. Further add the necessary text and send the message. Also instead of a smile it is possible to gather corresponding character set which will be replaced when sending for a smile. To learn how to insert a smile in ICQ with the help by a character, come into a tab with smiles and guide a mouse at the necessary smile. The pop-up window with a combination of characters for this smilie will appear.
2. Download additional smilies to add a smile in ICQ. Start ICQ, further come into a tab with smiles in any message box. Click a line "Management of smiles", further the Add Smilies point. Select a smilie on your computer. Specify for it the code, that is set of character which will be replaced with this smilie. Click OK. Further the smilie will appear in a window of the choice of smilies. Check whether there is a Show Additional Smiles check mark. These smiles will be shown in a message box of your interlocutor, only if he installs them too.
3. Download additional smiles to insert a smile into the message of the version of the ICQ5 program. Further come into folder C: Program FilesQIPSkinsICQ5Smilies (the folder by default if you installed ICQ to other place, then find the Smiles folder by means of search from the main menu), in this folder is two folders: ""Animated"" and ""Static"". Delete the Animated folder and insert instead of it the similar folder from downloaded by you. That is replace it new. Now close all folders, come in the ICQ client, and monitor update of an arsenal of smiles.
