Joomla – a popular management system of the websites (CMS). She allows to create resources of varying complexity and can be used for quick start of the website and filling by its contents. Installation and the Joomla setup is automated, however for performing installation the system needs to be loaded previously on a hosting.
Instruction
1. Download version 1.5 Joomla distribution kit from the official site of the CMS developer. Wait for the end of loading of archive.
2. Load the received file on your hosting by means of the manager of FTP or via the control panel of the website. For loading via the panel it is enough to you to pass into the section of administration with your resource on the hosting selected by you and to select the section of file management. Unpack the loaded archive in a root directory of your website, having used the corresponding option or functions of the FTP client.
3. By means of the administration panel the website or the phpMyAdmin utilities create MySQL base for use of Joomla. For this purpose use the corresponding point of your control panel or contact hosting provider who will help to create to you the necessary element.
4. After creation of MySQL base and unpacking of Joomla enter the address of your resource in an address bar of the browser. On the appeared page select language which you would like to use at installation and work with the website. Click "Further" in the window upper right corner.
5. You will see requirements which are imposed by Joomla to a hosting. If the page does not show any errors, click "Further". If it is impossible to continue installation, contact your hosting provider for correction of the listed problems.
6. Read terms of service and click "Further". On the new page specify parameters of connection with MySQL – enter a server name, a user name, the password and the name of the created database. The server name, a user name and the password are reported by hosting provider during creation of the account. The name which you set to the database for Joomla is specified in the last field.
7. On the following pages if necessary configure the FTP settings and also enter configuration settings for access to the panel of the administrator of a resource. If all data are correct, installation of files Joomla on which end the corresponding notification will be issued to you will begin.
